Since mid-year of 2002, Linis Gobyerno has been studying the dog meat trade in the Philippines. Armed with a law for the protection of animals already in existence since 1998 (RA 8485 otherwise known as the Animal Welfare Act), our group is dedicated to putting a stop to this gruesome trade.
